Wellness Policy
We trust parents to make safe decisions around when to send your children to At Home in the Woods. We recognize that there is always a risk when bringing children together in a group, and we want to do our best as a community to keep the environment as safe and healthy as possible. If there is any doubt in your mind that your child is well, we strongly encourage you to keep your child at home and help the other children stay healthy.
Children should not attend if they have (or have had within 24 hours) one or more of these symptoms:
If your child develops these symptoms while at Home in the Woods, we will contact the caregivers to come and pick up their child.
If you are a facilitator and are sick, or have a child that is sick, and are unable to attend it is your responsibility to find a substitute. There is a list of substitutes available in our handbook and on our email list. Please let the head facilitator know the evening before you are meant to facilitate.
